Official-First Policy
Use the official Tamil Nadu textbook source for textbook PDFs and exercises. KalviGavani should help students understand, organise, and revise solutions without replacing official resources.
Solution Workflow
1. Read the chapter once without writing. 2. Mark definitions, formulae, diagrams, and examples. 3. Solve textbook one-mark questions. 4. Solve short-answer questions in full sentences. 5. Solve long-answer questions with headings and diagrams. 6. Correct answers using the textbook and chapter guide. 7. Add mistakes to a revision notebook.
Chapter-Wise Completion Tracker
| Chapter block | Exercise focus | Must check |
|---|---|---|
| Physics 1-6 | Formulae, diagrams, numericals | Units and steps |
| Chemistry 7-11 | Definitions, equations, reactions | Balanced equations |
| Biology 12-22 | Diagrams, processes, comparisons | Labels and sequence |
| Visual Communication 23 | Examples and short answers | Clarity and terms |
Answer Format by Question Type
Definition Questions
Use one clear sentence. Do not add unrelated examples unless asked.
Difference Questions
Use a two-column table. Write at least two points for two-mark questions and three or more points for long answers.
Diagram Questions
Draw large enough to label. Use pencil for diagrams if allowed by school practice.
Numerical Questions
Use this order:
1. Given values 2. Formula 3. Substitution 4. Calculation 5. Final answer with unit
Equation Questions
Write reactants and products first. Balance only by changing coefficients, not subscripts.
Textbook Exercise Priority
| Priority | Question type |
|---|---|
| First | One-mark definitions and textbook facts |
| Second | Short-answer reason and difference questions |
| Third | Diagrams and labelling |
| Fourth | Numericals, equations, and long answers |
